Emotion Experiment Execution

The experiment was conducted in PsychoPy.To conduct the experiment you will need images from databases of standardised images. The databases and images used in the experiment are listed in Images from each image dataset. Before running the experiment you need to create 5 folders in the same directory as the code: Gnuss with images that induce disgust, Vesel with images that induce happiness, Strah with images that induce fear, Nevtr with neutral images, and Vse_s with all of the images.To recreate the experiments, the Image Sequences Randomised includes the randomised sequences of image display based on their emotion category. We conducted 5 rounds of randomised sequences.Additionally, there is code for image categorisation task, where the participant has to categorise each of the images in the experiment in one of basic emotion categories: “Happiness”, “Fear”, “Anger”, “Sadness”, “Disgust”, or “Neutral”.
