Deposition of the Virgin Mary Durres

Image of the Virgin Mary carved in wood with traces of polychrome, which was part of a group of the Descent from the Cross, probably made of seven figures: Christ, the Virgin Mary, John the Evangelist, Joseph of Arimathea, Nicodemus and the two thieves. Presented standing with the left hand should hold the right arm of Christ, while the right, collected the blood emerging from the crucified wound with some kind of receptacle.
