Simulium damnosum sensu lato from Ghana

Blackflies in the Simulium damnosum species complex transmit the neglected tropical disease onchocerciasis, or river blindness. This project uses shotgun sequencing of blackflies collected in Ghana to explore the potential of blackfly genetics for defining transmission zones.
