Biochemical indices of different groups on GD 19.

The serum levels of ALT, AST, Cr, and BUN were measured by an automatic analyzer. The values are mean ± SEM of each index of 5 to 10 rats in each group (in some rats there was insufficient serum for the planned analyses to be undertaken, analysis of variance). PE-PTZ-Mg, PE rats treated with 270 mg/kg MgSO4 and 40 mg/kg PTZ. aP<0.01, PE-PTZ group compared with other groups; bP<0.01, PE-PTZ group compared with other groups; cP<0.05, PE group compared with other groups.
