资源简介:
It is known that biofilm formation is a major factor contributing to multi-drug resistance in clinical isolates of Staphylococcus aureus. Inhibition of such resistant organisms would obviously require drugs acting synergistically with silver nanoparticles. To obtain a complete picture of the functional genome contributing to the high resistance, the transcriptome of Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 29213 was analyzed. Pre-formed biofilms were exposed to sub-biofilm inhibitory concentrations of SNP as well as ionic silver and mRNA sequencing was attempted on Ion Torrent PGM®
