Inferring human-induced evolution in retrospect

This archive provides the code and data required to reproduce the analyses presented in: “Inferring human-induced evolution in retrospect” This study develops a retrospective eco–evolutionary inference framework (REEIM) to reconstruct historical fishing intensity and associated life-history evolution from contemporary monitoring data. The approach integrates empirical data processing, eco-genetic individual-based simulations implemented in SLiM, and Approximate Bayesian Computation with Sequential Monte Carlo (ABC–SMC). The archive contains: Empirical data used for model calibration Simulation code implementing the REEIM framework (SLiM and R) Scripts for ABC–SMC inference Code for posterior predictive simulations and downstream analyses This Zenodo record represents a frozen snapshot of the code and data used in the manuscript to ensure full reproducibility of the results.
