Half-a-Million Coins from Roman Britain (Almost): Data to Provide National, Regional and Site-Type Means for the Distribution of Coinage Across England and Wales

This collection comprises spreadsheet data and accompanying figures which form a corpus of Roman coins (site finds) from England and Wales. The data was created between August 2022 and April 2023 as part of a project funded by the British Numismatic Society and the UK Numismatic Trust. A corpus of over 490,000 Roman coins defined as site finds have been made freely available.
