THE PHILOSOPHICAL AND CULTURAL INTERPRETATION OF THE CONCEPT OF "GOODNESS"

The article is devoted to a comprehensive analysis of the philosophical and cultural interpretations of the concept of “goodness.” The study comparatively examines the understanding of goodness in Western and Eastern philosophical traditions, particularly in the works of Plato, Aristotle, and Immanuel Kant, as well as in Islamic Eastern thought. It also analyzes the manifestation of goodness as a cultural code in folklore and classical literature. The article highlights the transformation of the concept of goodness in modern philosophical discourse and its role in the spiritual life of society.
