PROSPER 2026 UK Risks and Adaptation Data

This dataset contains risk information for the UK at an ADM3 level. There are three kinds of files included here: - Projected impact files: This includes regionally-resolved files (agriculture.csv, coastal.csv, flooding.csv, health.csv, labourhours.csv, labourprod.csv, slr.csv, temps.csv) and UK-wide or global files (catastrophic.csv, missrisks.csv, trade.csv, temps-gsat.csv), depending on the resolution of the impact. These specify a scenario (Most Likely or High Risk), a projection year, "measure" which specifies that the impact is an expected annual damage (EAD) or decadal extreme (Extreme), a region ("county"), an expected value ("mu"), and a 90% confidence interval ("ci05" and "ci95"). - Adaptation files: These specify how damages are reduced through funding at levels specified in the technical documentation (included in the data repository). The columns in these files depend upon the differentiation of the adaptation effects, but may include a scenario, year, measure, county, expected fractional reduction in impacts ("mu") and inter-quartile range ("ci25" and "ci75"). - Figures showing the UK-wide impacts or the spread of county-specific impacts. The regional defintions are also included as shapefiles in the `regions` subdirectory. The included sectoral are described in the technical documentation. The dataset also includes a economy-wide total without adaptation ("total-noadt.csv") and with adaptation("total-napadt.csv").
