Maize grains of transgenic varieties containing NK603 were compared to their non-transgenic counterparts using high-throughput RNA sequencing. Differences were analysed using Galaxy packages and verified with RT-qPCR. It can be shown that transcriptomic methods are an excellent tool of detecting unintented effects in genetically modified organisms
