Seismic sequence monitoring on land and at sea in Mayotte : SISMAYOTTE (RESIF-SISMOB)

Following the onset of the seismo-volcanic sequence of Mayotte in May 2018, the network of seismic stations has been improved. In order to better locate the events and monitor in real-time the sequence located 20 to 50 km eastward offshore Mayotte, several stations have been installed in Mayotte and Glorieuses islands. These stations complement regularly surveyed ocean bottom seismometers deployed on the ocean bottom above the area of seismicity.
