This dataset provides high-resolution maps of soil organic carbon (SOC) stock in coastal saltmarshes and unvegetated tidal flats of China for the year 2022. Two depth intervals are included: 0–40 cm. The simulations were generated by integrating surface soil property predictions (bulk density and SOC) with ecological mechanisms linking vegetation contribution to soil carbon (CVSCt) and the vertical gradient of carbon stock (VGCS). SOC stock is expressed in g C m⁻², with a spatial resolution of 10 m. Outputs are provided as single-band GeoTIFF files, where each pixel value represents the estimated SOC stock within the specified depth interval. These data are intended for large-scale assessment of blue carbon storage and spatial heterogeneity in coastal ecosystems.Please cite Qi G, Wei J, Li H, et al.
