Seasonal and depth dynamics of soil microbiota of two drained peatland sites (metatranscriptomes)

We prepared 60 soil metatranscriptomes from two different sites from four seasons and two depths. We analyzed mRNA and rRNA transcripts, to study seasonal variation and the depth dynamics of the soil microbiota. Especially, we wanted to link dynamics of CH4-cycling mRNA and rRNA transcripts to CH4 fluxes across the year.
