OmniLayout is the first large-scale schematic-coupled PCB layout benchmark dataset jointly created by The Pennsylvania State University and other institutions. It aims to evaluate the layout reasoning capabilities of large language models (LLMs) under realistic geometric and electrical constraints. This dataset contains 1,681 industrial-grade PCB layout designs, covering 77,000 component instances, 169,000 pads and 139,000 net connections. The data is sourced from EAGLE design files on open-source hardware platforms such as SparkFun, with structured annotations extracted through an automated parsing pipeline. Its core applications are in the field of electronic design automation (EDA), specifically targeting layout optimization problems for high-density components under strict spatial and functional constraints to advance the development of intelligent EDA tools.
