Generate Outsiderness-Values in EU-SILC This file does not produce any results shown in the paper but is necessary to generate the group- and country-specific values of labor market vulnerability ("outsiderness") on which our article relies. This measure is based on EU-SILC data. We are not allowed to share EU-SILC microdata due to the signed confidentiality undertaking. However, we provide the entire code to replicate the creation of group- and country-specific outsiderness values in case you are in possession of EU-SILC microdata. Furthermore, we do provide the calculated values for each group in each country, i.e. the result of running the file create_outsiderness_SILC, in the excel file called "outsiderness.xlsx". At the end of the file "create_outsiderness_SILC.do", the excel file created this way is imported and reshaped to generate the two dta-files ("outsiderness_tomerge" and "outsiderness_sp_tomerge"), which are merged with ESS data in the main syntax. 2. Replication of Empirical Results The do-file called "replication_sharingtherisk" generates all the empirical results (tables, figures) in the paper and the supplementary online appendix.
