资源简介:
This series consists of the entire collection of emails managed by senior staff of the Royal Commission into Family Violence (RCFV) from 2015 to 2016.Senior staff included:- RCFV CEO- Commissioners, of which there were three- Executive staff from Community and Engagement, Legal, Media and Research teams- icourts key staff (icourts was the law firm and a legal technology consultancy that were contracted to manage the electronic evidence of the RCFV).The mailboxes from the above listed executive, Commissioners and key legal team members have been represented in this series to highlight decision making. The terms 'actors' and 'email custodians' have been used to represent the individuals' whose inboxes form this series. The emails are preserved in .eml (electronic mail format). This type of file extension for an email message saved to a file is done so in the MIME RFC 822 standard format. The .eml files can contain plain ASCII text for the headers and the main message body as well as hyperlinks and attachments.Examples of emails which may be interest to researchers are those which contain Submissions in their raw form, with an accompanying email; and certain Witness Statements, which were emailed to the Commission in their raw, unredacted form.See also:- VPRS 18241 for Submissions [Published]- VPRS 18228 for Submissions [Legal Discovery / Case Management System] (contained in the Ringtail system, which was the Commission's legal discovery / case management system.)- VPRS 18244 for Witness Statements and Attachments [Published]- VPRS 18232 for Witness Statements [Legal Discovery / Case Management System] (contained in Ringtail)Emails contained in this series will be of varying levels of relevance to researchers. Given all emails for the Commission's senior staff have been preserved in this series, it is likely many emails will be either duplicates or ephemeral in nature, and of little enduring value. Drafts can be identified by the absence of data in the 'sent to' field.Note that some emails in this series are subject to an order prohibiting the publication of any information that may enable the identity of the person who has given information or evidence to the Commission to be ascertained. Emails that are known to be subject to an order have been flagged as such.
