Burkitt lymphoma is an exclusively high grade and aggressive class of non Hodgkin lymphomas. Lysine specific demethylase 1, an epigenetic regulator, has become a potential target in cancer treatment. However, the biological role of LSD1 inhibitor in Burkitt lymphoma treatment needs to be further examined. Here we show that ZY0511, a novel LSD1 inhibitor, suppresses BL cells proliferation in vitro and in vivo in an LSD1 dependent manner. Mechanistically, gene set enrichment of the cellular senescence pathway was performed by transcriptional profiling of LSD1 inhibition treated BL cells. The RNA seq study was executed utilizing Novogene Company advanced profiling services. Post 48 hour exposure to either DMSO or ZY0511 at a concentration of 1 uM, we meticulously extracted the total RNA from Raji and Daudi cells.
