Pleurotus djamor strain PL01-White is an indigenous edible wild mushroom species in Sri Lanka and having many bioactive properties. The whole genome sequence of this mushroom can be used to relate these bioactivities of with its genomic data. The project targets on the domestication of the mushroom species and the agricultural feasibility and toxicity can also be predicted using these genomic data.
