This dataset was created for educational use in biomechanics teaching environments. It contains data collected during a practical activity in which students performed elbow flexion–extension movements while holding external loads. The task duration was fixed at 10 seconds, and participants were instructed to execute the movement as rapidly as possible, without adopting resistance training patterns. The external load was expressed in kilograms and held manually. Movement velocity was estimated by counting the number of complete repetitions performed within the 10-second interval. Assuming a constant range of motion per repetition, average velocity was calculated as the number of repetitions divided by time. These data allow for the construction of force–velocity and power–velocity curves, supporting the application of classical muscle mechanics models, such as the one proposed by Hill (1938).
