The complete sequence of a Cheilinus undulatus genome. Cheilinus undulatus

We have sequenced and assembled the complete genome of a Cheilinus undulatus, achieving a 0-gap genome assembly from chromosome telomeres to telomeres(T2T) by combining multiple sequencing technologies(HiFi+ONT ultra-long+Hi-c). The process mainly includes: preliminary assembly, Hi-Cattachment, genome gap filling, telomere and centromere identification, and T2T assembly evaluation. The T2T genome of Cheilinus undulatus can not only provide the most comprehensive reference genome information for population genetic research and gene function localization, but also allow structural and functional analysis of centromere and telomere regions.
