Raw data for MDA-MB213 control experiment.Clonogenic survival assay.A total of 1.4 x 104 MDA-MB-231 cells were plated in 35 mm2 dishes supplemented with complete culture medium (DMEM + 10% FBS) for 24 h. Cells were then irradiated (0-6 Gy - 160 kVp X-rays), trypsinised, counted and re-plated at pre-determined low seeding densities in 6 well plates. Individual colonies formed over 11-13 days in a humidified incubator at 37°C, 95% air/5% CO2. Colonies were then fixed and stained using 0.4% crystal violet then counted.
