INDIVIDUAL METAPHORS IN THE LYRICAL DISCOURSE OF MUHAMMAD YUSUF'S WORKS

This article analyzes the role of individual metaphors in the lyrical discourse and their artistic and aesthetic significance in the works of Muhammad Yusuf, a prominent representative of Uzbek poetry. In the poet's work, metaphors are not only a stylistic tool that enhances imagery, but also an important linguopoetic unit that expresses the author's individual worldview, spiritual experiences, and spiritual views related to national values. In the course of the research, the specific metaphorical expressions used in Muhammad Yusuf's poems are analyzed and their semantic and pragmatic features are revealed. Also, the artistic interpretation of such concepts as homeland, love, mother, people, and nature through metaphors in the poet's lyrical discourse is highlighted. The article scientifically and theoretically substantiates the role of individual metaphors in shaping the poet's style and their aesthetic impact on the reader's consciousness. The results of the research are of great importance in a deeper linguistic and literary study of Muhammad Yusuf's work.
