TMS-EEG perturbation in patients with disorders of consciousness

Patients with disorders of consciousness (DOC) are awake but are unable to communicate and report upon their level of awareness. While standardized behavioral evaluation has been the most reliable clinical tool to diagnose DOC, neuroimaging and electrophysiology have proven to be techniques that can provide complementary information to the behavioral assessment. This multimodal dataset contains data from DOC patients, including structural magnetic resonance imaging, resting state high-density electroencephalography, electroencephalography during stimulation with transcranial magnetic pulses and repeated behavioral assessments using the standardized procedures for this population of patients.
