Policy Clarity and Implementation Index (PCII) Dataset: Cross-Sectional Crawl of University Generative-AI Policies (Feb 2026)

Dataset Overview This dataset supports reproducible analysis of university Generative-AI policy implementation readiness using the Policy Clarity and Implementation Index (PCII). Contents policy_metadata.csv — Source URLs, policy status, document source, and word counts pcii_scores.csv — PCII indicator values and composite scores for 71 policies processed/ — Cleaned policy texts in JSON format including tokens, lemmas, readability metrics, and extracted structural sections Data ProvenancePolicies were collected via a cross-sectional crawl conducted in February 2026 from a 500-institution sampling frame.A total of 81 policies were collected; 71 policies met inclusion criteria (≥200 words) and were retained for scoring.
