Portulaca oleracea L. (POL) is a traditional medicinal and food plant. The flavonoids of POL (FPO) are its main active constituents, exhibiting potent anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activities. Our results showed that high-dose FPO (HFPO) treatment regulated the structure and composition of the gut microbiota and maintained gut microbial homeostasis.
