Mansonella ozzardi and endosymbiont Genome sequencing and assembly

Mansonella ozzardi is a filarial nematode parasite of humans, which is endemic to South America. The infection mansonellosis remains one of the most neglected tropical diseases. This project provides the first whole-genome sequencing and assembly data for M. ozzardi, from a patient-derived isolate "Moz-Venz-1" collected in Venezuela.
