Water–Energy–Food–Transport–Health–Biodiversity input dataset for JUNIPER model in Greece

This dataset contains curated input data for the JUNIPER system dynamics model, which simulates cross-sectoral interactions within the Water–Energy–Food–Transport–Health–Biodiversity (WEFTHB) Nexus in the context of Greece. The dataset was compiled from publicly available sources including Eurostat, Aquastat, World Bank, OECD, FAOSTAT, Our World in Data, ELSTAT, ODYSEE, STATISTA, Numbeo, and peer-reviewed scientific literature. The data were cleaned, harmonized, and structured to support integrated sustainability scenario simulations. This dataset supports policy-relevant modelling aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and key priorities of the European Green Deal, including the Farm to Fork Strategy, the EU Biodiversity Strategy for 2030, and the European Climate Law.It was developed within the context of the BIONEXT project, funded by the European Union’s Horizon Europe Programme and UK Research and Innovation (UKRI).
