In 2024, Denmark had the highest occupancy rate for self-storage facilities of all the countries in Europe. The occupancy rate in Denmark was 89.3 percent. Belgium and France followed closely, with an occupancy rate of 88.8 and 86 percent, respectively. On the other hand, Portugal and Lithuania saw relatively low occupancy rates, both at less than 60 percent.
