资源简介:
In August 2022 the Inflation Reduction Act, was signed, providing $8.8 billion for Home Efficiency Rebates and Home Electrification and Appliance Rebates.
The rebate amount for a household depends on the income of that household as compared to the Area Median Income (AMI). Households with incomes between 0% and 80% of the AMI receive the largest rebates. Households with incomes between 80% and 150% of the AMI receive a smaller rebate, with households with incomes greater than 150% AMI receive the smallest rebates.
Communities wishing to participate in the rebate programs can use the following files to understand household characteristics in their area. The LEAD Tool provides household data for all 50 US States, Washington DC, and Puerto Rico. All states have a spreadsheet for counties and census tracts, broken into groupings of all households as well as households with incomes between 0-80% AMI, 80-150% AMI, and 150%+ AMI. The data includes household counts, energy burden, energy costs, income, demographics, and educational attainment. You may use these files to help make decisions about where to focus Inflation Reduction Act Rebate funds.
