Two agricultural soils from two long term field trials located in Freising (Bavaria) and Rostock (Mecklenburg Western-Pomerania), Germany, were used for whole genome sequencing. The aim was to analyze the impact of carbon and nitrogen availability on microbial P turnover. Microbial community structure and enzymes involved in uptake, mineralization and solubilization of soil P were studied.
