Parametric study on geometry and hydrodynamic characteristics of the toroidal propeller

In this study, seven geometrical parameters of toroidal propeller are introduced and the hydrodynamic effect of each parameter is numerically analyzed.  The efficiency and flow characteristics behind the toroidal propeller in different working conditions are obtained from several numerical simulations in CFD and the results are compared to a similar conventional propeller.
