Collaborative Studies of the Antarctic Mesosphere and Lower Thermosphere

A meteor radar was installed at the South Pole in 2001 and operated intermittently through 2011. The system provides measurements of the horizontal wind field around 95km in 4 distinct viewing directions. The data provided in the database are hourly averaged winds at 95km however higher resolution data can be provided upon request.
