In English:
In order to study the geologic evolution of the Livingston Island, the
following data has been collected:
- Geologic and geomorphologic exploration of the central part of the island.
- Geologic mapping, structural cross sections and rock sampling in Hurd,
Bowles, Friesland, Samuel, Siddons, Hannah and Shirref areas.
- Radiometric ages of selected rock samples.
- Petrologic study of a small region in the South Shetland magmatic arc

Para el conocimiento basico de la evolucion geologica de la Isla Livingston, se
recogieron los siguientes datos:
-Exploracion geologica y geomorfologica de la parte central de la isla.
-Cartografia geologica, perfiles y cortes estructurales, y recogida de muestras
de las zonas de Hurd, Bowles, Friesland, Samuel, Siddons, Hannah y Shirref.
- Datacion radiometrica de una seleccion de rocas.
- Estudio petrologico de un fragmento del arco magmatico de las Shetland del
Sur.
