本数据是全国第二次一类清查用材林各优势树种按龄组面积蓄积统计表，数据统计了全国除台湾和西藏控制线外西南地区、西北地区、中南地区、华东地区、华北地区、东北地区29个省市自治区的各类优势树种的面积、蓄积、幼龄林面积、幼龄林蓄积、中龄林面积、中龄林蓄积、成熟林面积、成熟林蓄积。

This dataset comprises statistical records of area and stock volume stratified by age group for each dominant tree species in timber forests from the 2nd National Forest Resource Continuous Inventory. The survey scope covers 29 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government across Southwest China, Northwest China, Central-South China, East China, North China and Northeast China, excluding Taiwan and the regions along the Tibet control line. The included statistical indicators are the total area and stock volume of each dominant tree species, as well as the area and stock volume of young forests, middle-aged forests and mature forests respectively.
