The SRF gene is transcribed to yield mRNA and the mRNA is translated to yield SRF protein (inferred from mouse homologs). Transcription of SRF is activated by TBX5 and KAT5 after which SRF maintains its own expression (inferred from mouse homologs).
SRF基因经转录产生信使RNA（mRNA），进而翻译生成SRF蛋白（据小鼠同源基因推断）。SRF的转录在TBX5和KAT5的激活作用下启动，随后SRF维持自身的表达（据小鼠同源基因推断）。
