Dataset from Participatory Budgeting experiments for DEMOTEC project - Discourse data

The dataset was produced by the DEMOTEC Horizon project funded by the EU (H2020 GA no.962553). The main purpose of the project was the study of Participatory Budgeting (PB) and other democratic innovations at the local level of governance. The dataset was produced through a series of experimental activities – PB simulations designed to tap preferences for different forms of Participatory Budgeting (PB) at the local level of governance in 7 European countries. The relevant data consist of coding of utterances of participants made in the duration of the PB simulations/experiments. More methodological details are provided in the attached codebook.
