Ralstonia wenshanensis 56D2, which was isolated from tobacco planting soil, is an effective biological control agent against Ralstonia spp. causing tobacco bacterial wilt. To better understand the mechanism used by strain 56D2, the 56D2 genome was sequenced using a PacBio RS II and Illumina HiSeq 4000 platform at the Beijing Genomics Institute (BGI, Shenzhen, China). Here, we report the complete genome sequence of Ralstonia wenshanensis 56D2. The whole genome of species type strain Ralstonia pseudosolanacearum LMG 9673 was sequenced using PacBio Sequel platform and Illumina NovaSeq PE150 at the Beijing Novogene Bioinformatics Technology Co., Ltd.
