The land types are classified into the following secondary categories: paddy fields, dry lands, closed forest land, shrub land, sparse forest land, other forest land, high-coverage grassland, medium-coverage grassland, low-coverage grassland, rivers and canals, lakes, reservoirs and ponds, permanent glacier and snow land, tidal flats, beach land, urban land, rural settlements, other construction land, sand land, Gobi, saline-alkali land, swamp land, bare land, bare rock and gravel land, and others. Among them, cultivated land is categorized based on landform into paddy fields and dry lands on mountains, hills, plains, and slopes with a gradient greater than 25 degrees. The data scale is 1:100,000.
