## **Abstract** \n\nThe dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme. This dataset was derived from multiple datasets. You can find a link to the parent datasets in the Lineage Field in this metadata statement. The History Field in this metadata statement describes how this dataset was derived.\n\n\n\nApproved boundaries of the bioregions and subregions (version 6) for defining the reporting regions for bioregional assessments of impacts of coal seam gas and coal mining development on water resources.\n\n\n\nThis is identical to Bioregional_Assessment_areas_v05 except for an upgraded version of the Arckaringa Subregion basin boundary.\n\n## **Purpose** \n\nProvides authoritative boundaries for defining bioregions and subregions to be reported on for the Bioregional Assessments and tabulation of Bioregion and subregion areas.\n\n## **Dataset History** \n\nThis dataset contains two spatial shapefiles: "ba_bioregion_alb_gda94_v06.shp" and "ba_subregion_alb_gda94_v06.shp". \n\n\n\nThe subregion shapefile is a copy of the previous version's (Bioregional Assessment Areas v05) bioregions, with the following change:\n\nThe Arckaringa boundary has been removed and a new boundary was added as per instructions so that the Arckaringa boundary aligned with the South Australian version.\n\n\n\nThe bioregion shapefile is a copy of the previous version's (Bioregional Assessment Areas v05) bioregions, with the following change:\n\nThe new Arckaringa subregion boundary was incorporated into the LEB bioregion boundary.\n\n## **Dataset Citation** \n\nBioregional Assessment Programme (2015) Bioregional Assessment areas v06.
