Millions of inequivalent quadratic APN functions in eight variables

This dataset contains the look-up tables of the new 3,775,599 inequivalent quadratic APN functions in dimension eight (up to EA-equivalence) found by the approaches described in our work [C. Beierle, P. Langevin, G. Leander, A. Polujan, S. Rasoolzadeh. Millions of inequivalent quadratic APN functions in eight variables. arXiv:2508.04644 (2025)], presented at the 10th International Workshop on Boolean Functions and their Applications (BFA), September 1-5, 2025, Larnaca, Cyprus. The file new_apns.txt contains the look-up tables of these 3,775,599 new quadratic APN functions. Prior to our work, 32,892 quadratic APN functions in eight variables are known (up to EA-equivalence). Those are: The 22 quadratic APN functions listed in [EP09], the 8,157 APN functions constructed by the QAM method [YWL14], the 10 APN functions presented in [WTG13], the two APN functions from the Taniguchi family [Tan19], the 12,921 APN functions from [BL22], the 5,412 APN functions presented in [YP22], and the 6,368 APN functions constructed in [BLP22].
