EPMA, bulk rock composition and LA-ICP-MS U-Pb xenotime datasets of low-grade metasediments from the Präbichl Formation (Noric Nappe, Austroalpine Unit)

This data publication contains the supporting datasets of the publication “P-T-t-d Evolution of Low-Grade Metamorphic Xenotime, Eastern Alps (Austria)” by Hollinetz et al. (in press) published in Terra Nova. Two metasedimentary samples from the lower greenschist facies Präbichl Formation south of the Dachstein and Hochschwab massifs (Noric Nappe, Austroalpine Unit) were investigated. The present datasets include (1) compositional data measured by electron probe microanalyzer (EPMA) of main phases (chloritoid, white mica, pyrophyllite and chlorite) and rare earth element (REE)-bearing phases (xenotime, florencite and apatite), (2) whole rock analyses of major and trace elements, (3) effective bulk composition data for calculation of pseudosection diagrams and (4) LA-ICP-MS data of xenotime including U-Pb isotopes and semiquantitative compositional data.
