RNA sequencing of RHOJ knockdown in human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVEC).

RHOJ is highly enriched in endothelial cells. We performed RNA sequencing to profile differentially expressed genes in control and RHOJ-KD HUVECs. One hundred seventy-nine significantly differential mRNAs were identified under the thresholds of q-value1. KEGG pathway enrichment analysis demonstrated that fluid shear stress and atherosclerosis signaling pathway and its two relevant signaling pathways, nuclear factor-kappa B and cell adhesion molecules, were significantly enriched. Overall design: HUVECs at 80%-90% confluence were infected with 50nmol/L control siRNA or siRNA of RHOJ.
