Our RNAseq showed that VMAT2 inhibition to pancreatic bud from E12.5 for 2 days promoted pancreatic branching morphogenesis and differentiation. The Genes associated with antioxidant activity was also changed, which indicated the possible involvement of ROS in branching morphogenesis. Overall design: To gain insights into the molecular mechanism underlying the impact of the VMAT2-monoamine pathway on pancreatic development, we conducted RNAseq to analyze the global expression profiles of Tetrabenazine (TBZ)-treated and control pancreatic buds cultured from E12.5, for 2 days.
