Offshore Sand Information System (In_Sand) — Sand Base

The information level consists of points describing the depth of the base of the sandy body relative to the surface of the sea. These data derive from the interpretation of the CHIRP Sonar seismic profiles. The extraction of the depth of the sand base from the profiles was done using SeisPrho software (Gasperini & Stanghellini, 2009), digitising the base of the deposit interpreted by seismic facies and confirmation of vibrocarotaggi. The unit of measurement shall be expressed in metres.
