Unmanned aircraft system (UAS) snow depth mapping at the Pallas Atmosphere-Ecosystem Supersite

The dataset contains digital elevation models (DEMs), orthophotomosaics, and field measurements from the Pallas Atmosphere-Ecosystem Supersite collected during 2018-2019. The DEMs were generated with the Structure from Motion (SfM) algorithm from images collected with several UAS (DJI Phantom 4 RTK, DJI Phantom 4 Advanced, DJI Mavic Pro, eBee Plus RTK). The field measurements include ground control points (GCPs) and checkpoints (CPs) utilized in generation and validation of the DEMs, and snow depth measurements collected from a snowline consisting of 46 snow stakes.
