Dumortiera hirsuta Raw sequence reads

Bryophytes are the first land plants but are scarcely studied at the molecular level. Several economically important secondary metabolites, anti-microbial compounds and enzymes have been reported from plants of this group. They are very important with the evolutionary perspective. Thus, there is an utmost need to study their genome structure and function at the transcript and protein levels. Here, we report the transcriptome sequencing and functional annotation of most of the genes of Dumortiera hirsuta, as a representative bryophyte.
