Automated seismicity catalogue and picks for the Chilean margin

This repository contains the seismicity catalogues and corresponding picks of the accompanying paper (Riedel-Hornig et al., in prep.) Contact:Martin Riedel Hornig, Universidad de Concepción, Chile ([e-mail]) Data:Our dataset is subdivided into a primary and a secondary catalogue. For the primary catalogue, we provide an event id ("id" column) for each earthquake as well as event date ("Date"), time ("Time"), coordinates ("Lat" and "Lon" in decimal degrees, "Dep" in kilometers), local magnitude ("Ml"), absolute latitude, longitude and depth errors in kilometers ("Lat_Error", "Lon_Error", "Dep_Error"), rms in seconds ("RMS"), relative errors in meters ("R_Lat", "R_Lon", "R_Dep") and an event classification ("Type") as either "Outerrise", "Crustal", "Interface", "Intraslab" or "NC" (Not Classified). The same data is provided for the secondary catalogue, with the exception of the relative error and type columns. Each catalogue is linked to its respective picks by the event id column ("id"). Each event contains at least 8 picks, identified by its event id. The pick files contain an event id column ("Event_idx"), the station to which the pick corresponds ("Station"), pick type ("Type") and pick absolute time as an obspy DateTime object ("DateTime").
