Digital Archive from an Archaeological Evaluation and Excavation at Main Road, Kelsale cum Carlton, Suffolk, 2020

This collection comprises site images, GIS data and a database from an archaeological evaluation and excavation at land off Main Road, Kelsale cum Carlton, Suffolk. The works were carried out by Cotswold Archaeology in August 2020, and October to November 2020 respectively. The evaluation phase identified a series of ditches, of which, two dated to the medieval period. The later excavation identified early medieval activity across the site in the form of ditches, gullies, pits and a small group of possible stake holes.
