资源简介:
Crocodilian and varanid specimens from which microtextural data were acquired. For each sampled tooth, the in-lever and out-lever distances and mechanical advantage (in-lever distance/out-lever distance) are given. Tooth height, width and aspect ratio data are also given for the five reptile species where the null hypothesis that tooth microwear textures do not differ between different positions in the tooth row (Alligator mississippiensis, Caiman crocodilus, Crocodylus acutus, Gavialis gangeticus and Varanus rudicollis). Crocodylus porosus adults, as termed in this study, are specimens whose lower jaw length exceeds 50 cm and specimens below 50 cm are termed juveniles. Also includes the PC 1 and PC 2 values from the dietary projections of the non-mesial teeth into the texture-dietary space of Bestwick et al. (2019). All to 3 d.p. Bestwick, J. et al. (2019) Sci. Rep. 9, 11091.
