Geophysical aerial measurements, electromagnetic fields, loop frame (detailed)

By measuring how the ground reacts to electromagnetic waves, it is possible to obtain information about the ground's ability to conduct electric current. For example, good electrical conductivity is associated with certain types of rocks, aqueous crack zones in the bedrock or water-rich soils. Geophysical flight measurements, loop frame (detailed) contain point information on the real and imaginary part of the induced (secondary) electromagnetic field from airborne measurements using loop frame systems in order to create an image of ground conductivity.
